Jim Cudmore from Kerwee Feeldot at Jondaryan in Queensland talks about the evolution of Kerwee's production systems with particular emphasis on the increasing prominence of an Angus-derived product. Jim discusses the different styles of programs that have evolved at Kerwee over the years, from 300 day long-fed to shorter, lower cost systems. Regardless of the program in place the idea has always been to provide an excellent eating experience, and Certified Angus Beef has been vital to achieving this goal.
