Bull Sale 2016 Report

                                                                      

Booroomooka Angus celebrated 91 years of breeding in style, on Friday 12th August,  with 220 Bulls selling to average a phenomenal $9422. The sale smashed all time gross sale records, with  $2.07 million worth of bulls selling in 2 hours and 53 minutes.  Sinclair Munro said he and his family were overwhelmed with the positive comments and spirited bidding at the sale. Selling agent, Luke Scicluna said the "Consistent high quality bulls are a result of the long term commitment of the Munro family in making continual improvements into breeding predictable bulls"

Top Priced Bull was Lot 110 selling for $26,000 to  Mr James Harris from Abington, Bundarra.

New Buyers included The Murray family from Kindee Pastoral Company who purchased 12 high quality bulls to average $12,083. The bulls will be used to join to their mainly Santa based herd in central Qld.

Most bulls sold within a radius of 400 kms from Bingara, but also as far to WA, King Island and through areas of Qld.
