Booroomooka 2020 Bull Sale Results

Again a High Quality line up of sale bulls went up for auction on Friday 14th August 2020. With significant herd rebuilding taking place in many areas of Australia, there was massive demand for Booroomooka Angus Bulls.

216 Bulls were sold (100% clearance), averaging $10,638 and Grossing $2.29m. Bulls were sold to a widespread area, with many return customers. Leading Seedstock producers were active, with the top priced bull Lot 11 Booroomooka President P22 selling for $40,000 to Roger Flower, Bridgewater Angus Stud.

Second top price was shared at $24,000, with The Brazier Family, Choice Angus Stud securing  Lot 3 Booroomooka Progress P466 and long term customer Tim Martin purchasing  Lot 12 Booroomooka Kingy P13.

Travel restrictions due to Covid made it impossible for interstate buyers to attend, but that did not stop them from buying. 51 Bulls were purchased online and some were purchased over the phone, including Lot 48 Booroomooka Lorenzo P727 selling to Nani DiGiorgio, Sterita Park Angus Stud, SA.

Bulls sold to a wide area – with local northern NSW buyers prominent. Bulls also sold to many areas through Qld, SA, Tasmania, King Island and central/southern NSW. The selling agents were Davidson Cameron and Co, with Luke Scicluna and Tom Tanner as auctioneers.
